Okanagan
The Okanagan Valley, located in British Columbia, Canada, is known for its stunning landscapes and outdoor activities. I completed a rotation in Kelowna and took a day trip out to Summerland.

Grizzly
In 1862, an early settler emerged from his shelter, and the Okanagan First Nations mistook him for a bear, shouting "Kiʔláwna," meaning grizzly bear in their language. This name was later adapted to the name of Kelowna.
